Life Drawings
I know I've mentioned my talented Dad before, but I finally set him up with an Etsy shop of his own! He's the one who encouraged me to start my site in the first place. He's currently selling life drawings of dancers and nudes.
Those are three of my faves. Pardon the butt. I was taught at a young age that nude = art, naked = no clothes, nekkid = no clothes and you're up to something.
Check out the rest of the drawings in my dad's shop and show him some love on his blog. Original art is truly an investment. Consider buying some original art for your home. All of his pieces are signed.

New Crafts and Etsy Listings
I know this is my third post today...but I've been busy crafting, and I'm too excited to keep these new pieces from you any longer.
I've been wanting a rosette necklace of my own for quite sometime. I've entered so many giveaway in the hopes of winning one, but I just haven't been that lucky! I finally found some time to make this beauty. I love it even more than the ones I tried to win! I used a new patterned fabric that features pink, green, blue, and teal. I placed the 5 rosettes on a silver chain long enough to slip it over my head. I love a necklace without clasp.
I wore my new necklace today as a pop against my solid purple tee. I haven't made any more of these yet, but I'll take custom orders if anyone is interested. I hope to put a few in my shop soon!
This idea came from a fellow architecture student. He sent me a link to a tutorial for this grown-up friendship bracelet. I've made three in the past couple of days but haven't been able to post them to my shop.
I will take custom orders for these too. These can be made with any color combination. The bracelets clasp with a lobster hook.
Today I posted new rosette headbands, a braided headband, and a new necklace to my Etsy shop. Let me know what you think of them!
Don't forget about the purse "garage sale" I'm having!!
Also, be sure to enter my Facebook giveaway! It closes tomorrow at midnight, and there are low entries!!

Spring Swap Post - finally
I participated in my first ever blog swap recently! I was partnered up with the fabulous Beth at Living a Goddess Life. She has a great blog and just opened her own Etsy shop! Be sure to check it out!
Yes, I opened the box while in bed. I had just gotten back from Spring Break. I was so pleased to open all the individual gifts to find such an array of things! Everything from party poppers to body lotion.
I, of course, loved getting a new pair of cute flip-flops. These came at the perfect time for the warm weather we've been having!
Beth did a great job getting me fun spring items!! Thanks again!
Featured Item of the Week
This week's featured item is brand new!
I just posted this colorful cluster necklace this morning! Some of you may recognize this beauty from the giveaway I had at bouffe e bambini. If you didn't win, you now have a second chance to own this necklace!
The different colored beads allow this piece to be worn with practically any outfit. The beads on the necklace for sale are slightly different than the necklace shown.
Be sure to check out the giveaway I'm hosting on my Facebook page! You could have the chance to win 2 mum bobby pins by simply "liking" Hand Made and Lovely and commenting on the picture. Good luck!

To any new readers, my name is Bracey Pate. I'm an architecture student who is about to graduate into the real world. I love to create Hand Made and Lovely jewelry and accessories. I blog about my latest craft projects and my life in general.
My shop and blog are called Hand Made and Lovely after a vintage clothing tag I found mixed in with some old buttons. I love giving vintage materials new life. You'll see that I incorporate recycled buttons and beads into a lot of my designs.
I love to host giveaways and often share coupon codes for my Etsy shop.

See Where I Relax - Link Up
It's the first Friday of April, and Lauren and I are hosting another link-up. This month we want to see where you relax!
This picture was taken on move in day almost 2 years ago. My bed isn't usually made, but I wish it was. I love all my pillows, and my bed is very cozy. When I read or do a crossword or blog, I like to sit next to my lamp. I try to dedicate at least an hour before I actually go to sleep to just relaxing in bed. Whether I'm talking on the phone to the boy or cruising through stumbleupon, it's a great way to end my day.
Now, link-up and show us where you relax!
I would love to be able to relax on that beach all day! I'm obviously missing Spring Break.
A fun link-up to show your followers where you relax…You can show pictures of your favorite area to relax wherever that might be.
The rules:
1. Follow the 2 hostesses (Hand Made and Lovely and A Modern Day Wife’s Journey)
2. Post a link back to the link-up
3. Share where you relax!
