What a Pinteresting Friday

It's time for me to share some of my pins for the week. Today, I'm sharing 2 things I'd like to make!

I'm not sure I'll actually be able to make those, but I do love them! Anyone want to teach me how to crochet?

I will be making this as soon as I can find an old window frame. I'd love to find some that are painted or shabby chic. This is perfect for organizing lots of jewelry, and I have lots of jewelry. I could also use it as a display for my booth. I have a sale coming up tomorrow, but I definitely won't have one made in time...maybe be next month.

Money for your Opinions

I know I've posted about the Opinion Outpost website before, but now I know it's legit. I got my first check in the mail on Monday for $33.30. I decided to go ahead and cash out my opinion points (you have to wait until you have at least 200). It took me about 3 months of taking surveys to reach this point, but it's really just 10-20 minutes here and there. I think the longer you've been a member, the more survey opportunities you have. I'm already back up to 180 points.

They send you emails when eligible surveys become available, but you have to be able to act kind of fast. Quotas are filled for certain demographics, and you won't be able to receive points.

When you request a check, it says that it can take 4-8 weeks. It only took about one week for my check to arrive.

If you have spare time and want to earn a little extra cash, this is a great opportunity for you. Plus, if you join through this link, I get 20 points! That's $2!

I'm not being compensated by Opinion Outpost for this blog post (unless you sign up!). I just wanted to share an opportunity with my readers!

New Tags!

The Tag Ladies have posted new tags this week, and change all their prices! In case you don't know, The Tag Ladies is my new Etsy shop that I've opened with my mom. She's the crafts-lady working her little fingers to the bone making all these tags in my sweat shop. I'm the marketer/shop runner, and I sell the tags at my booth along with my jewelry.

Two pieces of exciting news regarding The Tag Ladies.

1. All of these tags have just been added! (as well as others)

stylized spiders
various birds
swimming fish
2. We have ordered business cards! I recently designed a business card for our new shop since we have a unique url and email address.

Simply place an order if you'd like to see one in person! As always, we have free domestic shipping on all tag orders!

We just recently finished our first big order of 200 tags! Someone's wedding in April is going to have the most unique stamped tags as favors. Contact me today with any questions about custom or bulk orders. We are ready to make a unique design for you!

Today's Featured Item

Today I'm featuring my Vintage Bow Bracelet, and I'm presenting you with my first "Buy This - Not That" scenario.

I wrapped a light-weight aluminum cuff with tan linen and vintage chain. I then re-purposed a vintage gold bow brooch as the perfect cuff accent.

Bows are big!! I've done my research and found comparable bow bracelets.

This bracelet found here costs $110.
Leighton Meister wore this bow cuff in an episode of Gossip Girl.
One like that costs $150 here.
Get these two looks for less with my $15, one-of-a-kind cuff.

Pinteresting Friday

Today I'll be sharing two things that I'd really love to have. Pinterest can be dangerous.

Have you found anything cute on Pinterest that you need in your life??

WILW

I'm linking up with Jamie again this week to share what I'm loving this Wednesday.

I'm loving that it's Wednesday (as always). This weekend I have a booth at a new sale! A local church is having a Chicken Q and Fair with vendors. I'm hoping for a big turn out. Last year, they had around 300 buy BBQ.

I'm loving that my Tigers won on Saturday! and I'm loving I got to go to the game! This was one of the most exciting Clemson games! The crowd was loud and cheering the entire time. The best part was that I didn't have to hear a single "WAAAR EAGLE" for the rest of the day...and I haven't seen any "WDE" Facebook statuses recently either. If we can shut Auburn up for one week, that makes our victory even sweeter.

I'm loving that I finished The Help last night. Well, I'm kind of sad I finished it, because it was such a good book. I'm just loving that I read it. If you haven't read it yet, do it!!

I'm loving my sweet college friends. Since graduation I've already gotten 2 post cards and an awesome note! Don't you just love snail mail?? I think it's about time for me to send something out.

I'm loving that last week I picked 5 for 5 right in a football challenge at a local pizza place. Today I get to enjoy a free lunch buffet just because I'm so awesome!!

Happy Hump Day!

This Week's Featured Item

This week's featured item is my Gold Filigree Pendant Necklace.

I love the simple design of this necklace. It will surely go with any outfit. The antiqued gold gives the chain and pendant a vintage feel.

This long, simple necklace would be the perfect gift for a friend (or yourself). As a bonus, this necklace ships free to anywhere in the US or Canada!! This offer won't last long!

Pinteresting Eats

Today, for Pinteresting Friday, I'm all about food. These two recipes look delicious! I've got to try them soon.

These biscuits sound amazing, and the recipe is super simple.

I love a good batch of cheesy bread. It might be dangerous is I could make this at home.

Possibly the Greatest Thing Ever

You know how they say "You learn something new everyday"? That is true today! Unless, of course, you already knew this. If you did, how dare you not tell me about it!

This is possibly the greatest thing ever...be prepared...

Go here to read the details. I'm going to have to start leaving a paperclip with all my jewelry.

What I'm Loving This Wednesday

I'm linking up with Jamie, as usual, for WILW

I'm loving that it's Wednesday. Not that my week has been difficult by any means, I am just so ready for this weekend! I'm finally making my way back up to Clemson for the first time since I graduated and moved out of my apartment. I'm going up for the Auburn game, but I just can't wait to be back in Tigertown and see some of my friends! Be ready for a very orange post next week!

I'm loving the architectural themed gift tags in The Tag Ladies. There are several sets of these. Simply go to the shop and click on the "Architectural" section to see them all! My mom has done such an amazing job finding vintage books with the cutest illustrations! We've got some verrrry cute ones that need to be posted.

I'm loving my new Peace Sign earrings. I love the turquoise combined with different colored beads I'm also loving that they're hanging so perfectly on my wire Earring cages.

Happy Hump Day!

Pinteresting Friday

It's Friday!! I have not been the best blogger this week...but I'm sharing some of my pins from the week.

This is one of my favorite quotes. I found it about 2 years ago, and I just think it's so true. Be kind.

I absolutely love these bunk beds. Don't you want to sleep here? This would be perfect for a beach or lake house for extra guests.

This is the last pin I'll share for today. This could be a great alternative to a guest book at a wedding. These would be so fun to put in a book and read later!

WILW

I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW again..

I'm loving that I had a successful sale this past weekend at my town's First Saturday Market Day. I've already sent in my application for next month, and I'm planning on having some new items for sale!

I'm loving a new key necklace design I found on Pinterest. Look for my rendition coming soon!!

I'm loving the new Etsy shop I've opened with my Mom. Check out some of our tags. I had a post about it here, or just head straight over to the shop! We specialize in affordable, one-of-a-kind, conversation starting gift tags. Have something special you need a set of gift tags for? We can help!! All of our tags feature a vintage flair.

Happy Hump day!!

The Tag Ladies

My mom and I have opened a new Etsy shop! She has tons of vintage dictionaries and children's books. In her spare time she started cutting up the books and making tags to use at Christmas time. She always has a theme every year and starts planning early!

I convinced her that we need to open up a new Etsy shop selling these tags. I wanted to keep my shop exclusively for my Hand Made and Lovely jewelry and accessories. We are now affectionately known as "The Tag Ladies".

This architectural set of tags reminds
me of downtown Charleston.
I love the vintage yellow coloring.

These Autumn themed tags are perfect for the upcoming season.

I love the vintage quality of these stamped tags.

The dictionary tags are all unique.

My mom created all of these tags with the exception of the key stamped tags. You know I had to include a vintage key flair to the shop. These tags are the perfect "one-of-a-kind" touch to any package. They are perfect for wedding gifts, Christmas presents, or birthdays.

Go show The Tag Ladies some love, and let me know what you think! I'll be posting new tags for the next few days.

Pinteresting Friday

It's time for another Pinteresting Friday. I can't believe it's Friday again, and that it's already September!

I'm actually making these as I type!! The first batch has already come out of the oven, and I just had to sample. I plan on writing an entire post about this, but sweet baby Jesus these things are good (especially hot out of the oven). Follow the link to my pinterest, click on the picture, and follow that blog's link to the full recipe.

I've got to include something orange today. Tomorrow is Clemson's first football game of the season! GO TIGERS!! How amazing would it be to watch the game from this chair?!? I found an amazing wing-back chair at the Salvation Army last year, so I have to keep this in mind when I decide to reupolster it.

Last one for today, I really want to make a pair of these out of some of my old jeans. I also think they'd be so cute with some colorful fabric peeking out of the bottom.

Follow me on Pinterest, so I can see all of you finds too!

Happy Pinning, and Happy Friday!
